For the second consecutive year, Chorley Council has partnered with local bakery brand Eat My Logo to provide personalised Chorley Cakes for participants in the highly anticipated Chorley 10K run, taking place on 4 May. This collaboration, first initiated in 2024, has been renewed for 2025 to ensure runners are rewarded with a delicious and iconic local treat as they cross the finish line.

The Chorley 10K, a staple event in the local running calendar, attracts participants of all ages and abilities, celebrating fitness, community spirit, and the vibrant culture of the town. Understanding the importance of recognition and motivation, Chorley Council sought out Eat My Logo once again to craft bespoke Chorley Cakes adorned with a special touch—commemorating the event and offering a sweet token of achievement for all who take part.

Eat My Logo, a well-known bakery specialising in cakes, biscuits and more, is delighted to continue its partnership with the council. Directors Ruth and Andy Poar, who are not only overseeing production but are also participating in the run themselves, expressed their enthusiasm for the ongoing collaboration.

“We are thrilled to be working with Chorley Council again for the 2025 event. Seeing the positive impact our personalised Chorley Cakes had last year on the runners was incredibly rewarding, and we look forward to continuing that tradition,” said Ruth Poar. “It’s wonderful to know that as runners cross the finish line, they’ll receive a little taste of Chorley’s heritage to celebrate their achievement.” Andy Poar added, “We also can’t wait to get our hands on one ourselves after completing the run!”

As excitement builds for this year’s race, the addition of personalised Chorley Cakes promises to make the experience even more memorable, reinforcing local pride and ensuring participants leave not just with a sense of accomplishment, but with a taste of Chorley’s rich culinary history.
