On May 4th, Ruth and Andy Poar, the directors of Eat My Logo, laced up their running shoes to take on the Chorley 10K. The event, a highlight in the town’s calendar, saw hundreds of local runners and supporters gather for a day of fitness, fun, and community spirit—and the Poars were right in the thick of it.

Known across the UK for their high-quality personalised cakes, biscuits, and sweet treats, Eat My Logo is a business rooted in creativity, hard work, and local pride. In fact, Eat My Logo supplied branded Chorley cakes on behalf of Chorley Council to be handed out to runners as a congratulatory treat at the end of the run.

“We’re proud to have taken part and completed the Chorley 10K,” said Ruth and Andy. “It was a fantastic atmosphere, and the support along the route was incredible. As local business owners, it felt great to be part of something that brings the community together.”

The Chorley 10K route winds through the town centre and surrounding areas, offering a mix of enthusiastic crowds. For the Poars, it was more than just a run—it was a chance to step outside the day-to-day operations of a growing business and do something active, inspiring, and a little bit different.

Despite their busy schedules leading one of the UK’s most recognisable names in branded corporate treats, Ruth and Andy believe in leading by example—whether it’s in business or in community involvement.

While Eat My Logo is typically associated with delivering smiles in the form of edible branding, the Chorley 10K reminded everyone that behind every great brand is a team willing to go the extra mile—sometimes literally.
