Bagco Asia is pleased to announce its continued support of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts in the US, the UK and Europe, furthering its commitment to being a top provider of high-quality, socially responsible and innovative products delivered at market leading prices.

Over the last ten years, Bagco Asia’s leadership has worked with factory owners to build relationships across China that result in better quality products without a human or environmental cost. Requesting all its manufacturers to undergo SEDEX audits, a UK-focused organisation requiring audits to be conducted by third parties, and to achieve REACH fabric safety standards as enforced in the EU, the company has found an improved level of trust between both factories and customers. The audit reports are shared by Bagco Asia for all customers to review as a part of its sales process.

And now in the United States, Bagco Asia is proud to support California Proposition 65, the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, which protects employees and the environment from the overuse of phalates in the manufacturing process.

Managing director Caroline Daly, says of the CSR efforts, “As a company and an individual, it is crucial to do the decent thing and make any manufacturing process safe and humane.” Bagco Asia recently launched several new tablet folio and bag products that have been under development with its factories as a part of the 2014 catalog release. The company and its manufacturers have invested the time to ensure their processes are safe, its products are compliant with REACH fabric and its factories are always working towards SEDEX standards, resulting in top-quality products and service.
