The BPMA held its 1st introductory seminar for 2018 to its new learners as part of the education programme. The event was held at Russell Square in London on the 16th February.

It is felt that the industry requires two major events a year, with January in The Midlands and the September Peak Season in the South of England. Farnborough has been selected for September for Four Key Reasons.

Many exhibitors commented on, and were delighted by the quality and volume of visitors at Merchandise World held at Silverstone at the end of January 2018. There were 1017 Unique visitors, and total visitors were 1080 when including the people who came both days.

The second Merchandise World was the largest promotional merchandise exhibition in the UK during January. The event was held in The Wing at the prestigious Silverstone Racetrack, which is the iconic building that also houses the pits for British Formula 1 Grand Prix below the exhibition halls.
