Sustainability: What information our supply chain needs and why

The demand for sustainable products grows and buyer expectations are higher than ever, requesting more and more information on product materials, footprint, claims and credibility.

With a supply chain under more scrutiny than ever before, what sort of information do we need? What information should and could be available? Why is it so important?

Join CEO Carey Trevill, Angela Wagstaff (Allwag, BPMA President), Helen Brennan (Brand Addition, BPMA Board Director), Colette Jeanes (Prominate UK) Paul Goldsmith (Event Merchandise), Chris Dawson (Project Merchandise) as they discuss this important aspect of day to day business.

In this hosted member forum for the BPMA, our distributor member panel explores the topic, sharing insights on the requests they see every day, the need for transparency and more.

Transparency in our supply chain

When the right information isn’t available it can jeopardise end user faith in what our industry is selling. With end users asking for more and more details about every aspect of materials, footprint, methods of delivery… availability information on demand is critical and not being able to give enough information can mean a lost contract – and importantly, lost business for our sector.

Opening frank and honest conversation amongst the members to clarify the type of information they need – and suppliers can provide – when it comes to the sustainable (and general) product information made available to distributors, the BPMA has invited the distributor panel to share their experiences and help the supply chain to pin point the often complex data they need to secure important business.

The forum is open to every BPMA member to listen, ask questions and provide their feedback.

Register to attend using the link here or visit bpma.co.uk/events.

Open to all BPMA members. All registrations will be approved. Opportunity to input into the forum with a Q&A session. This session is hosted on Zoom. Joining instructions will be provided when registrations are confirmed.
