Over 200 members came together for a series of regional meetings held at different UK locations.  These included Cambridge, Coventry, Hemel Hempstead and Bristol.  The new format involved a speed debate allowing members to discuss in mixed supplier/distributor groups varying topics.  The afternoon meetings included guest speakers as well as an industry overview from Director General, Gordon Glenister. Members discussed end user engagement and growing our market, industry trends, and service levels through the supply chain.

Sales & Marketing Director Nick Taylor from Dowlis who came to the South East event commented ” The day was fantastic ,it was good to catch up with existing suppliers as well as meeting new ones.  I think its really valuable with forums such as this that allow distributors and suppliers to share knowledge and ideas together.

All those attending the events were given detailed notes from the event.  Bpma Chairman, Neal Beagles stated ” I am delighted by the member response of these Autumn events.  Not only was it great to engage and meet so many but also the content coming from the debates has been very interesting and thought provoking too.  The bpma will be looking at a number of points to move forward on.  We will also be planning a new series of events in the Spring of 2013.  A range of photos can be found on the bpma facebook site.  www.facebook.com/thebpma
