The British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) has announced a new partnership with NeuroKind, an expert-approved workplace audit designed to help businesses create neuro-friendly, inclusive working environments.

With research from EY Report indicating that only 25% of neurodivergent professionals feel truly included in the workplace, the BPMA’s partnership with NeuroKind is pleased to support and empower neurodiversity in the workplace.

NeuroKind supports organisations of all sizes through a structured workplace assessment. Following completion of a simple self-assessment, businesses receive a bespoke report outlining strengths, areas for improvement and a practical, step-by-step pathway to enhance neuroinclusion.

As part of the partnership, BPMA members receive an exclusive discount on the NeuroKind Assessment.

Phil Law of Pinksheep, a BPMA member company, commented: “We are always looking to continuously improve our workplace environment and we were really excited by what NeuroKind offers businesses like us. The NeuroKind assessment and report has been hugely helpful to Pinksheep.”

In addition to the assessment and tailored report, NeuroKind provides access to a comprehensive range of neuroinclusion tools and educational resources, including a Neurodiversity in the Workplace Line Manager Guidebook and a Neuroinclusion Workplace Code of Conduct.

Jamie Wallis, founder of NeuroKind said: “We launched NeuroKind as we want to make it easy and affordable for any organisation to create neuroinclusive workplaces that empower people to feel happy and included, while aiding company growth and innovation. Everyone deserves to work in a company where they can reach their full potential, that’s why we are really happy to be able to work with the BPMA and to offer their members an exclusive discount.”

BPMA CEO Phil Goodman commented on the new partnership: “As we continue our efforts to ensure that the BPMA is progressive, inclusive and across every issue facing our industry, we are proud to partner with NeuroKind to support our members and their employees to ensure that every working environment can be as accessible as possible. Additionally, to help improve the understanding of neuro divergency amongst our membership such that neuro divergent people can be embraced for their strengths such as creativity, innovation, attention to detail and technical skills.”
