Boosters have just sent their June donation to www.sightsavers.org, and at the half way stage of their campaign to raise enough money to pay for over 300 cataract operations, can confirm that they are well on the way to the total. In fact, they have donated enough money since January to pay for 165 operations, which means that every day they have come to work this year at least one person has had the gift of sight restored or given to them for the very first time. Amazing! Thank you to everyone involved, but let’s not get complacent: there’s six more months to go and they want to make their 18th Birthday celebrations really special.

To raise this money, Boosters has donated a small percentage of its profits from every sale. Without the special clients they have, this would not be possible and thank them for their loyalty. Boosters would also like to thank their new clients for choosing them as their promotional products supplier, they are sure you too will become as loyal as some of their other clients who have been with them right throughout their 18 year journey.

Sightsavers, Registered Charity nos. 207544 and SCO 38110 work in some of the poorest areas of the world performing cataract operations and restoring sight to people who would otherwise spend their lives blind. Managing Director Blair Carroll said: “Each operation only costs around £30 and our aim is to pay for over 300 operations by the end of the year and now being at the halfway point of this campaign I know we will meet this target and go on to better it, of that I am sure”.
