Andrew Nash of Sussex Promotions Ltd lost a close friend last year to cancer, back in 2014 when in the early stage of treatment she supported Andrew during an Ironman triathlon with her husband cycling a tandem around the course!

In her memory, Andrew thought riding 1000 miles up the country would be a fitting tribute and through friends, family and suppliers has raised nearly £3000 to create The Mo Barling Children’s Cinema; which will be a mobile entertainment & therapy system for the wards at The Royal Alex Children’s Hospital where she worked.

The route is set, it’s 1000 miles; the equivalent of two Everests in elevation, and will take two weeks.

Andrew will also be blogging the journey on his personal blog: www.andrewnash.co.uk
