Award-winning Outstanding Branding is pleased to announce that the return of their end user show, The Outstanding Promo Show, was a huge success.

Held at the Tower of London on Thursday 21st May for the second time, Outstanding Branding invited the merchandise buyers from their nation-wide clientele to unlock the power of promotional merchandise, the sentiment of which became the theme for the day. Over 30 of the organisations top suppliers exhibited a variety of promotional products to inspire creativity for future marketing campaigns, and with branding workshops; free prize draws; and an incredible goody bag worth over £150 to name but a few of the events features, the show was sure to be successful.

Once the doors opened at 10am, the event was off to a strong start. The breakfast session saw over 50 attendees walk around New Armouries, getting a real feel for the hundreds of brand new and innovative promotional products on offer.

The day went from strength to strength with Claire Harper, former Marketing Director of Mamas & Papas, taking centre stage at the end of the lunchtime session. Harper’s seminar, Surprising and Delighting your Customer by Delivering the Extraordinary, discussed the ways in which promotional merchandise can be used to engage with customer bases across all industries. Claire even brought examples of branded oven gloves and aprons from her marketing campaigns at the market-leading online supermarket Ocado!

The final session of the day began with afternoon tea, and incidentally hosted the largest amount of attendees at over 60 individuals! With the room buzzing with excitement and creativity, the Outstanding Branding team knew that the day had been triumphant. The final speaker of the day was former Global Marketing Director of Coca-Cola; and The Walt Disney Company; Rafe Offer. Rafe discussed the revolutionary and the evolutionary of marketing in 2015 which saw the seating area full of eager fellow-marketing professionals.

One registered attendee left commenting that their head was “buzzing with ideas”, proving that TOPS 2015 was a job very well done.

During the three sessions which spanned the day, over 150 key customers visited the show, equating to a fantastic 20% increase from 2013, and a staggering total of 438 recorded enquiries.

Sales Director Andy Thorne commented, “Wow what an event, I wasn’t sure how we would improve on our last show, however with amazing support from our supply chain and a brilliant turn out from clients, the response has been phenomenal.”
