Steel City Marketing, a UK distributor of promotional merchandise, launched a brand new event last week in Sheffield, with the help of three of the leading suppliers in the promotional gifts industry, Senator, AT Promotions and CEG.


Managing Director, James Biggin explains, “We wanted to do something really punchy and informative and totally different to the standard table-top shows that are commonplace within our industry. These types of events clearly have a place, however, owing to the nature of their size, many exhibitors are often bypassed and hundreds of products missed by end-users because they don’t have time to stop and talk to everyone. Instead we asked 3 suppliers to present to just 30 customers that we knew would be interested specifically in their product ranges. Providing a more targeted and focused approach meant that the show was relevant and useful to everyone who attended.”

In response to the overwhelming success of the first ever ‘An Audience with Steel City Marketing’, the company is now looking to take this format to a number of locations around the UK with a view to hosting the event several times a year. Click more info to read the full press release.
