USB2U team raises £340 for Macmillan and Sands

Our fundraising team love organising activities and challenges to bring our colleagues and local community together.

Over the past couple of months, we’ve been busy fundraising for two very worthwhile causes.

In September, Marketing Manager Sara rounded up the office bakers and hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning, a cause very close to her heart. We had a morning filled with delicious treats, from Sara’s vegan coffee cake to Sam’s brownies and Tristan’s sausage rolls. Everything went down a treat, and we raised £190 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

To support Baby Loss Awareness Week in October, our sporty lot laced up their trainers and took part in a local parkrun to raise money and awareness for Sands. This cause is particularly close to the heart of Account Manager Tristan, who also plays for Sands United FC! Our running efforts saw us raise £150 for Sands.

A big thank you to everyone who baked, ran, donated and supported us along the way. We’re really pleased to have raised £340 for two fantastic charities!
