From Beijing and Vancouver to London and Sochi, promotional merchandise specialist George Gregan has spent 16 years delivering merchandise for some of the world’s biggest sporting events. Now, he is channelling that experience into a new venture, Logo.

George began his career working across several Olympic programmes, specialising in Far East sourcing. His expertise caught the attention of an Olympic licensee and brought him back to the UK to work on merchandise for London 2012, followed by further projects, including Sochi 2014.

He has since held roles with a number of distributors, gaining a broad view of the industry and building a strong reputation among customers, suppliers and colleagues.

Logo marks the next chapter in George’s career, and he has chosen the Galpeg Programme to support him as he launches the new venture.

George commented: “I’ve spent the past 16 years seeing the industry from almost every angle, and it felt like the right time to create something with its own identity. Logo allows me to work in the way I want, stay close to my customers and put that experience to good use. The Galpeg Programme gives me the freedom to shape the venture, with an experienced team supporting the operational side behind the scenes.”

Galpeg MD Paul Green added: “George has packed an extraordinary amount into his career. He understands international sourcing, major event merchandise and distribution, but most importantly, he understands customers. Our role is to give him the infrastructure and practical support to focus on what he does best, and we’re delighted he has chosen Galpeg for this next move. We look forward to seeing him put his stamp on Logo.”

After delivering merchandise on some of the world’s biggest stages, George is now stepping onto one of his own.
