Stuart Darby has joined SOLO Group as Sales Director Trade Textiles UK and Ireland, bringing a wealth of industry experience within the customisable textiles
market. He has accepted the challenge to help drive sales of the full textile, accessories and hard goods collection to an, as yet, untapped sector of the UK and
Irish market.
Solo midocean’s Regional Director, Haydn Willetts, commented, “The addition of Stuart to our UK team is a key part of our plan for continued strong growth in the
UK and Irish markets. His knowledge, reputation and experience will allow us to connect with more customers and help elevate our range of products and services.”
Stuart’s background and personality make him an excellent fit for solo Group and we’re excited to welcome him on board. He joins us at a pivotal time in our development. After years of exceptional growth in the UK and Irish markets, we’re focused on enhancing our engagement with UK and Ireland based customers and to engage with a new category of customers compared to our traditional customer base.
Our comprehensive service and product offerings enable us to deliver not just to the UK but across the EU, with some of the fastest delivery times in the industry. Our operations are backed by full and transparent product compliance, along with our state-of-the-art, fully audited print facility in Poland, which provides both operational and financial stability. This setup allows us to continue offering one of the strongest product collections in the industry, with European textile stocks from SOLO Group and a wide range of hard goods, plus our bespoke, made-to-order options from the Far East.
Stuart shared, “I’m absolutely up for the challenge, and from what I’ve seen so far, we have plenty to offer our UK and Irish customers. The print facility in Poland is impressive, and the stock holding and range are vast. I’m looking forward to working with customers old and new in my role at Solo Group. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if I don’t contact you first!”
