Brand Alchemists Helping Ukraine

We wanted to start off by saying a huge thank you for the incredible support and donations we have received so far! With special shout outs to the Laltex Group, United brands (and Naomi Scott), The Sweet People, Oldeani, Desktop Ideas and Hype branding!!

We have been sending vans weekly directly into Ukraine to a town called Chernivtsi sending aid for displaced people, children and soldiers.

Chernivtsi sits very close to the Moldovian and Romanian borders and over the past 2 weeks, approximately 40,000 evacuees have fled there, many of which have arrived with just a carrier bag of their worldly belongings.

Along with sorting donations, purchasing essentials, money collecting, loading and unloading vans, and logistically planning where exactly what aid is needed on each given day our amazing volunteers have been busy making up emergency packs with the basics, that are currently being distributed to as many people as we can possibly reach in Chernivtsi and its surrounding villages.

The essentials are constantly changing  today we have been told that in a lot of the surrounding villages the shop shelves are empty and people do not have food we have created an essentials list for this week please see below:

• Tinned food, dried fruits, any nonperishable food (no glass), cans of food, protein bars, chocolates, energy bars, biscuits, small bottles of water, cereal,  porridge in pots (instant food), coffee, tea, sugar, pasta, oil, flour.
• Powdered milk, pouches, baby food (not in jars) dummies, nappies, wet wipes, baby basics.
• Disposable plates and cutlery, paper towels, toilet paper, small tissues.
• Torniquets, First aid kit bags, elastic bandages, disinfectants, strong painkillers, CELOX (a hemorrhagic agent), medical supplies, vitamins, antibiotics for infections and wounds, wound dressings & bandages.
• Pro plus, water disinfectant tablets, energy shots/ sweets.
• Blankets, tents, emergency blankets, sleeping
• Hats, gloves, scarves, thermal socks, waterproofs for adults and children, clothes in general new ideally (If used please only send items in good condition – if you wouldn’t give it to your best friend please don’t give it to us!).
• Washing powder, washing up liquid.
• Pain relievers: paracetamol medications for children, Baby bottles and teats, drinking cups general items for children – blankets
• Flashlights good quality meaning strong light, AAA and AA
• Cardboard boxes medium to big sizes only.
