The Sourcing City sponsored ‘Building a Great Distributor Business’ seminars were recently held at Senator in Essex, Laltex near Manchester, The Page Partnership in Leamington, and at Sourcing City’s own offices in The Hub, Farnborough.  

Over the course of the four seminars, 96 distributors came along, and it was universal hailed as a great success.  The ‘Building a Great Business’ seminar was hosted by David Long, and the programme included subjects such as; Know Your Business & Customers, Why Culture is so Critical, Building a Great Team, Devolved Decision Making, and a Question & Answer Session.  

During the seminars David shared his 25 years’ experience in building teams to grow distributor businesses to over ?12m, and the critical factors on founding Sourcing City 10 years ago to become the UK market leader in online sourcing services and more. This seminar delivered new and challenging ideas, and more than a few precious business tips on what he believes makes a business great.
