Preliminary results for 2009 have been announced by 4imprint Group plc. Like so many in our industry the recession has continued to take effect. Predominately the Group operate in the USA & UK, and the company has maintained Group revenue at ?169m across all international divisions with an operating profit of ?5.5m. Cost management has resulted in a reduction of net debt by 25%. Brand Addition’s revenue has slipped by 20% to ?44.2m, the reduction of spend in the banking sector has had a specific effect, however Brand Addition still recorded a ?3.4m operating profit. The Trade Division had revenue of ?16.8m which was 15% below 2008 and the Direct Marketing Division actually increased market share, and revenue increased to ?111.1m due to the depreciation of Sterling against the US Dollar.
