During June 2017, Allwag Promotions Ltd have been participating in Cancer Research UK’s fundraising campaign, Walk All Over Cancer, to show their commitment to raising as much money as possible for such a great cause.

Following their previous Suppliers’ event in 2016, where they raised £1,025 for the Teenage Cancer Trust, twenty members of the team have stepped up to walk 10,000 steps a day to help beat cancer. Thanks to their hard work, determination and impeccable team spirit, the team at Allwag Promotions Ltd have exceeded their daily step target of 200K each day of the challenge so far! With only two days left of the challenge, the team have already walked over 6 million steps, despite the 28th day target being set at 5.6 million.

Harry Rutland, Production Assistant, commented: “When you’re sat down at a desk all day you don’t notice how little you actually move. Sundays were the most challenging day of the week because I’m so used to it being the day of rest.”

Sarah Kemp, Business Development Executive, added: “It was so lovely watching everyone motivate and support each other. We proved to ourselves that we can could do it – even if it meant marching in the living room at 11 o’clock at night!”

Thanks to Desktop Ideas who supplied the team with Q-Band activity trackers and the generosity of those who have sponsored Allwag Promotions Ltd £1,135 has been raised so far.

Allwag Promotions Ltd have two days left to get as many donations as possible so they can walk all over cancer once and for all! To donate please visit the team’s fundraising page at: https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/teamallwag10kperday.
