Malcolm Watson, of Trade Exclusive supplier I Love Promoting, was regrettably unable to attend the recent Purple Club summit, but having read the report that followed with great interest he has taken the time to provide some observations on some of the issues discussed at the event and how his business related to the findings.

As a Trade Exclusive supplier, I Love Promoting have a business strategy to only trade with Bona Fide Promotional Product Distributors and do not entertain any business that just uses promotional products as an add on.

At the Purple Club Summit some distributors requested that suppliers quote with ‘All-Inclusive’ pricing, Malcolm commented; “Around 8 years ago, I Love Promoting started to give all-inclusive pricing to distributors, to make everything easy and transparent. This is something we still do but, more often than not we get told we are too expensive! This is always due to people not comparing like for like or allowing for our competitors extra costs such as delivery and origination.”

I Love Promoting is a family owned and managed business and pride themselves on providing a very personal service, delivering on time and often before. In addition, they do not charge extra for express orders and provide free samples upon request.

Interestingly, on the subject of trade shows Malcolm said; “I Love Promoting do not attend trade shows as frankly, there are too many and they cost money that we would be better served putting towards saving costs for our customers, like the special summer promotion we are currently running across many products in Sourcing City, as this benefits everyone.”
