Steve Samuels of Epsom Incentives has been embarking on various physical challenges to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Over the past couple of years, Steve has been in training, and has just completed the cycle from London to Paris with a very good friend of his Kristian (Buzcel) Burrill.
On the way to achieving this, Steve also has many different individual events planned, starting with a 48.1 mile walk around Jersey which he has just completed, and finishing with 2 back to back Tough Mudders in September.
Steve is doing this to raise both money and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis, which his son Dylan has.
Many are not aware what CF is, and just to brief you, CF is a life threatening disease that attacks the lungs and the pancreas. A lot of medication and physiotherapy is required every day, as at present THERE IS A CURE called Kalydeko, but unfortunately not for Dylan’s gene make up just yet. Current life span is only 40 years, so you can imagine how important the cure is.
