As part of his role as a volunteer with the charity Dreams Come True, Ian Hill from fleQs is part of a team arranging a charity black tie ball to be held at the Hilton Manchester on 5th October 2018, an event where top-class food, drink and entertainment will be served in a glamorous setting, all while helping us to fulfil the dreams of seriously and terminally ill children.

Dreams Come True is a charity which supports children between the age of 2 and 21 with serious and life limiting illnesses and one which is particularly close to Ian’s heart. Having recently had a “Dream” fulfilled by the charity by way of a specialised travel bed for his son Matthew, who has a rare chromosome disorder that impacts on all areas of his development and understanding.

As part of the volunteer role and the ball preparations, Ian is seeking corporate sponsors to support the ball and be part of ensuring that future dreams for children throughout the country become a reality.

Ian said: “As a family we were delighted when Matthew’s dream was approved,  but just looking online at the other kids’ dreams on the charity website I wanted to remain involved in the work they do in the future. Since being a volunteer I have found the experience incredibly rewarding and being part of the team arranging the ball is proving quite exciting, knowing that it will help in bringing a smile and a bit of magic to other children and families who really deserve it.”

Should any industry colleagues be interested in attending and supporting the ball then there are a range of corporate sponsor table packages available from £1000 which will include a table of 10 and offer prominent sponsorship to a diverse guest list from both the Manchester area and further afield,  more information can be gained from Ian on ian@fleqs.com or 0161 282 9619, individual tickets are also available should anyone be interested in attending on a personal level.

He also added: “It would be great to see some familiar faces at the event which is already shaping up to be something really special and exciting.”
