Orb | CMC Rumour.

The industry is currently hot with rumours following the demise of CMC, & we are doing all we can to publish the facts as quickly as we learn them. Apparently a rumour is currently circulating that CMC ceased trading because Orb International did not pay them. Mike Smith, MD of Orb international, has issued the following statement to quell these unfounded rumours. STATEMENT: "There are some totally unfounded rumours circulating that the reason that CMC have ceased trading is due to Orb International not having paid the money for the purchase of CMC's Sports Division. I can categorically assure everyone that this is not the case. Simply put, the deal done was a cash deal, and the transaction could not have completed until the money was paid. The purchase sum was paid in full on the day of completion.
