The winners of the Sourcing City Awards 2012 were announced on Monday 3rd December 2012.  Voting broke all previous records for the awards, with 224 Distributor companies receiving votes from 221 Supplier voters. For the supplier awards 156 Supplier companies received votes from a massive 283 Distributor voters.

The Top Distributor Award went to Dukes of London, who just pipped previous winners Brand Addition to the post. Merchandise Mania again achieved a top 3 spot, continuing their success in these awards.  In the ?1m to ?3m category, AMT Marketing won for the first time, closely followed by both Outstanding Branding and perennial award winners, Allwag.  The Under ?1m category was won by Face to Face, with Purple Moon and BH1 taking second and third positions.

Once again the two supplier categories were a closely fought battle.  The Specialist Supplier of the Year was Senator Pens, with a previous winner, Bizz Badge hot on their heels.  A newcomer in the Top 3, was Liquid Lens who finished in third place.  SPS continue to impress, winning the Wholesaler of the Year category, with PF Concept yet again featuring at the top.  Laltex just took an impressive third place from Impression Europe.

Alistair Mylchreest, CEO Sourcing City said ‘We are thrilled that over 500 people participated by placing votes in the awards, and that 380 different company’s received votes. There have been many notable winners, and sadly, many quality company’s missed out this year.  The fact that so many companies received votes just goes to show how many good distributors and suppliers our industry has.”

Sourcing City now look forward to welcoming all of the Top Twelve Winners from each category to celebrate their success. The SC Award Winners Presentation Night will be held at MKB in Guildford on Wednesday 27th February.  The impressive crystal winner awards will once again be generously provided by the team at Laser Crystal.
