PSI Promotion World Premieres in Hannover in April  
 
Hannover/D?sseldorf. PSI PROMOTION WORLD offers its exhibitors direct access to their target market and spans the entire promotional products value chain. The trade fair premieres at the Hannover Exhibition Center – right alongside HANNOVER MESSE, the world’s leading trade fair for industrial technology – from 8 to 10 April 2014 and is a prime opportunity for manufacturers, suppliers and resellers of promotional products and incentives to demonstrate the great communicative power of haptic advertising media to a captive audience of prospective buyers and users.
 
“This combination is a win-win for all involved. It gives the promotional products sector direct access to HANNOVER MESSE’s exhibitors and visitors, who, in turn, can discover the immense range and multiple marketing uses of promotional products without having to leave the showgrounds,” said Michael Freter, the CEO of the Promotional Service Institute (PSI). The German promotional products sector already generates around 20 percent of its ?3.47 billion annual revenues from key industrial accounts, and PSI PROMOTION WORLD is a great way to grow these revenues even further. “PROMOTION WORLD is intended as a platform where providers from all areas of the promotional products sector can show industrial companies the benefits of including promotional products in their marketing mix. And so the move to stage the fair from now on as PSI PROMOTION WORLD in association with the Promotional Service Institute (PSI), the largest promotional products industry association in Europe, was the obvious next step. The partnership will create valuable synergies for both parties and will be a major plus for the promotional products sector,” said Arno Reich, the Deutsche Messe director in charge of PSI PROMOTION WORLD.
 
The tried and proven PROMOTION WORLD format has been revamped and expanded and will premiere under the new name of PSI PROMOTION WORLD in April 2014. The new incarnation, PSI PROMOTION WORLD, is a joint venture between Deutsche Messe and Reed Exhibitions Germany, the organizer of the D?sseldorf-based PSI show. The PSI show is the largest trade fair for the promotional products industry in Europe. PSI PROMOTION WORLD 2014 is expected to feature around 120 exhibitors and attract more than 13,000 visitors.
 
Target Exhibitors
Participation as an exhibitor at PSI PROMOTION WORLD is open to manufacturers, suppliers and consultants. The two biggest exhibitor groups will be suppliers of promotional giveaways – including both importers/distributors and manufacturers – and suppliers of high-end branded products. The items on display will thus encompass the full spectrum of promotional products and incentives – everything from low-cost give-ways to high-end branded goods. The exhibitors will also include major promotional-product consultants and sales agents. Consultants are an integral part of the promotional products supply chain, helping users with creative gift ideas, product sourcing solutions and services. The smaller players in the consulting segment will also be part of the exhibitor mix, thanks to the Centre for Services and Ideas, where they will be able to offer their sourcing and advisory services to end customers.
 
Target Visitors
Promotional-product consultants will also feature among the fair’s target visitors. Apart from that, the key feature of PSI PROMOTION WORLD 2014 is that it will be co-located with HANNOVER MESSE and will thus have access to a “ready-made” target audience from a wide range of industries. HANNOVER MESSE 2014 will comprise seven flagship fairs: Industrial Automation – Energy – MobiliTec – Digital Factory – Industrial Supply – IndustrialGreenTec – Research & Technology. PSI PROMOTION WORLD will occupy Hall 23 at the Hannover Exhibition Center – a prime location immediately adjacent to the North 1 entrance. There, its exhibitors will be able to make contact with senior marketing, purchasing and sales executives from among HANNOVER MESSE’s exhibitors and visitors. PSI PROMOTION WORLD’s exhibitors will thus be based – for three whole days – right next-door to a captive audience of their most important industrial-sector end customers.
