John Stevens, Production & Print Manager, is celebrating 25 years of service for Senator Pens.

The quality and consistency of Senator printed products have enabled the company to become the industry leader that they are today. John started work with Senator Pens on 27th March 1990 and over the past 25 years he has played a key role in flying the flag for quality standards in the promotional industry.

Senator’s open door policy has meant that John frequently hosts print factory visits to allow distributors and their end-users to see for themselves how Senator’s printing processes work. Although he has given hundreds of tours over the last quarter of a century, his passion and enthusiasm never falters.

“Unlike some factories, we have nothing to hide, and I am eager for our customers to see that Senator printed pens can confidently deliver the quality expected by big brand names,” said John.

And in answer to why he has remained loyal to Senator, John said; “Working here has allowed me to be able to experiment with different printing techniques and applications with the company’s full support. This has resulted in Senator being able to provide our customers with unparalleled quality and consistency”. When asked about the technological advances he has witnessed, John replied “I don’t know any other company in this industry that is as forward thinking or that continually invests in new technology like Senator does. It genuinely cares, and it shows”

Managing Director Andrew Hill, said; “Many people in our industry are aware of our evolutionary processes which have, historically, been built on a determined sense of responsibility towards our clients. Not so many, however, will be aware that John has been a vital part of this process, and his dedication over the past 25 years has been invaluable in securing a plethora of successful solutions. On behalf of everyone here at Senator, I would like to offer John my sincere gratitude for all his hard work, and I’m already looking forward to discussing the next 25 with him!!”

Presenting John with a cheque, champagne and chocolates, Andrew was joined by all the staff at Senator in congratulating John on his milestone achievement.
