A New Year’s Eve raffle organised by Paper Innovation Limited raised over £400. The money was donated to local charity The Space Centre.

C.E.O Steve Johnston donated first prize of a week’s holiday in luxury villa along with supply of raffle tickets and promotional flyers.

Ironically Steve sold the winning ticket to his fellow Preston North End senior walking footballer Fred Roberts.

Legend Ex PNE star Alex Bruce presented the prize to Fred. Fred added “when I received the call I thought it was one of Steve’s practical jokes, but when I saw Alex Bruce walk in I knew it was true”.

The Space centre provides specialist care for children and adults with a wide range of disabilities. It is an invaluable source of respite for thousands of families from the North-West and beyond.
