The PAGE group hosted the annual awards conference and dinner at the Arden Hotel in Birmingham on Thursday 14th June 2012.

The conference was attended by PAGE members with talks from Gordon Glenister of the BPMA and Andrew Talbot of bNetCentric

In the evening the awards dinner was attended by over 150 dinner guests including some of the top UK business gift suppliers and distributors.

The awards evening opened with an informal talk by Brian Hayward, partner of PAGE, who spoke of the importance of customer service.

Distributor silver awards were presented to Andrew Nash of Sussex Promotions, Suzie Mundy of Hambleside Business Gift Solutions, Chris Witt of BH1 and Grant Forbes of Merchandise Mania.  Lloyd Simpson of LSI was the proud winner of the PAGE 2012 Distributor Gold Award.

The winner of the PAGE 2012 Supplier Gold Award was Senator Pens with silver awards going to Dunelm Glass Ltd, FleQs Promotional Products, Regent Innovations, and Logobugs Plus

After dinner the guests were entertained by Alfie Moore, an original and distinctive comedian with his niche area as a serving police sergeant from Humberside Police who brought a wealth of insights and comedy moments from his years on the beat.

The evening was brought to a close at 4am when George Hayward reluctantly closed the bar.

The following day some of the survivors attended a multi-activity day at Adventure Sports in Warwick.  The activities included Archery, Empire Crate Building, Segway Riding and 4×4 Off Road Driving.  The winning team included Pete Slater of Silk Promotions, Andrew Calver of Calver Ltd, Chris Smith of Dunelm Glass Ltd, Sim Shalom of Listawood and Holly Moriarty of Easy Gifts (UK) Ltd.
