The PAGE group hosted their annual awards conference and dinner.  The event was held at Brandon Hall Hotel & Spa in Brandon, Coventry on Thursday 2nd June 2016.

The conference was attended by PAGE members where Brian Hayward discussed the well received, new PAGE catalogue and changes to the promotional industry.  The conference was then followed by a table top exhibition where 33 suppliers showed the products that had been selected for the new catalogue.

In the evening, the awards dinner was attended by 150 dinner guests including the top UK business gift suppliers and distributors.

The awards evening opened with an introduction by Brian Hayward, of PAGE Partnership, who presented the awards.

Distributor awards are based on scores for PAGE member’s service and efficiency, taken from the PAGE Partnership annual survey.  Silver awards went to Chris Dickinson of LSi Ltd,  Blair Carroll of Boosters Ltd,  Suzie Munday of Hambleside Merchandise Limited and Andrew Nash of Sussex Promotions Limited.  The PAGE 2015 Gold Distributor of the year Award was presented to Angela Wagstaff of Allwag Promotions Ltd.

Supplier silver awards were presented to Sally Deakin of the Bizz Badge Company, Godfrey O’Donnell of Keramikos Ltd, John Barrett of PF Concept UK Ltd and Lynn Corrigan of Senator Pens Ltd.   Nick Clewlow of The Pen Warehouse was the proud winner of the Gold PAGE Supplier of the Year Award.

After dinner the crowd was entertained by comedian Ian Moore who struggled through strikes and floods to make it from France.

As ever, the event involved a serious amount of networking with some delegates not getting to bed until after 6am.

The following day the networking continued with a Mud & Mayhem driving event, although the clement weather ensured there was more mayhem than mud.

The winning team included five times in a row winner Peter Slater of Silk Group Ltd, Richard Roberts of Castelli Diaries Ltd, Angela Andrews of Arrow Corporate Promotions Ltd, Tim Farnfield of Bright Ideas Business Gifts Ltd, Rachel Ross of Goldstar Europe Ltd, Stuart Ackland of Just Balls Ltd and Andy Knight of CHX Products.  There were outstanding performances from Brian Hayward of PAGE Partnership who had the fastest lap of the day on the grass karts but also the most spins and Melissa Chevin of Cross UK Ltd, who had hidden skills with the Terex digger.
