Preseli’s Mark Lumb is dusting off his bike from the winter break to take part in RideLondon for WaterAid, and is hoping to raise a minimum of £575 in sponsorship to support the fantastic work they do in saving and improving lives. Money raised could help build a tapstand in Mozambique bringing safe, clean water to rural communities.

The route is a 100 mile ride on the Olympic road course. A couple of years ago Mark did London to Paris alongside a team riding for Water Aid, at our last night meal one of the Water Aid team read an excerpt from the diary of a child who had been helped by Water Aid.

Mark said, ‘It was an incredibly moving passage and really made me think about the lack of something we take for granted and how difficult life must be without clean water. I decided that the next charity event I did would be for this fantastic charity.’

WaterAid is an international charity. Their mission is to transform lives by improving access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation in the world’s poorest communities.

Please give generously in support of WaterAid…
