The accounts for 2012 are now complete and Great Central Plastics Ltd is delighted to record a staggering 50% growth in sales. Proof that with great product, great service and hard work, UK manufacturing is very much on the up. Early indications, based on performance in the first couple of months, would also point towards significant growth in 2013.

Managing Director Tony Phillips said ” Last years performance was extremely pleasing not  just because the company saw exceptional growth, but more due to the fact that the increased business came from many new customers who had been let down by other suppliers and turned to us to get them out of trouble. Once they had used us and saw that we were a UK manufacturer who supplied quality service and products at very competitive prices, they came back time and time again.”

Tony Phillips commented ” A good workforce is the back bone of any business and we value our employees immensely, they are important to the continued growth of the business.”

The company?s policy of reinvestment has seen the recent purchase of new ancilliary equipment, including conveyors and chillers, ensuring production is both fully automated and as energy efficient as possible. This, in turn, means 24 hour production is possible and further increases the factory?s capacity.
