Founder and managing director of eco-friendly and recycled promotional gifts wins prestigious personality of the year award!
Peers honour Evan Lewis at the BPMA Awards of Excellence

Evan Lewis, founder and managing director of Everything Environmental, the UK’s leading trade-only supplier of eco-friendly and recycled promotional gifts, has won the much coveted title of ‘Personality of the Year’ at the recent BMPA Awards of Excellence.

These prestigious and highly valued awards had their biggest turnout to date with voting open to the entire BPMA membership. Over 750 people, which included all contacts from membership companies, were allowed to cast those all-important votes and nominees were voted for by their peers.

Each Award was individually sponsored by major organisations within promotional merchandise industry, with Brunel Trade Services, a leading publisher of promotional paper products, sponsoring the Personality of the Year Award.

This was the only individual award within the category section whilst others were company based.  The award is a true testament to Evan who is viewed extremely highly among his peers and has a reputation for not only bringing issues to the fore but also taking them much further than the realms of the industry. He is a regular and experienced media commentator on the subject of ‘green’ and ethical products.

At the BPMA awards ceremony Sue Tugman, Managing Director at Brunel Trade Services presented Evan Lewis with the Personality of the Year Award, which he accepted graciously.

On a personal front in 2013 Evan successfully completed the gruelling 170km cross country ski Arctic Circle Race in Greenland in temperatures as low as -30c. Evan raised over ?10,000 for bone marrow charity Myeloma UK a large proportion of which came from within the trade.  Evan was delighted with the interest and the morale boost and support which the industry put behind him to achieve this tremendous outcome.

Evan commented: “It’s a great honour to win such a fantastic award, especially one where my peers have taken the time out of their busy schedules to vote for me. It means a huge amount to me personally but it also shows that, as a business we are on the right track with our offering and what we are doing in the marketplace.

“The award will definitely be taking pride of place in the office!”

This isn’t the only accolade from the night Everything Environmental was shortlisted again this year in the Supplier of the Year category up to ?2m turnover.

Everything Environmental is based in Bristol and was set up in 2005.
