As many in the trade already know, Dynamic Highway is being developed to elevate the distribution and collection of data across the industry to a completely new level. In other words, Dynamic Highway is about to create a complete Data Revolution.

Dynamic Highway has been in development since early 2016 and the investment made is in excess of £150,000.

Today the Dynamic Highway data management structure, back office and dashboard are built, and we have a number of suppliers engaged at various levels. The system is now in the first phase of proofing and contacting all top suppliers to provide more data will all start in earnest in the next 2/3 weeks. This will be followed by around 20 distributors carrying out beta-testing during May 2017.

Following the beta testing, any resulting further development will be planned and completed in June/July 2017, with full launch provisionally planned for August 2017. The complexity of the project has meant the development time has exceeded initial forecasts, but it has always been critical to make this exciting new innovation the best it can be first time.

Dynamic Highway are also looking to recruit a key person to head up the Dynamic Highway Division. If we can find the right person soon, then all will move more quickly.

About Dynamic Highway

One of the biggest headaches for suppliers and distributors alike is the management of data. Everyone wants differing product data & pricing information for websites, which is currently time consuming and costly to provide, and tricky to maintain accurately. The time taken by everyone in managing data is both expensive in man-hours and even more importantly, distracting from the core purpose of your business.

2. Data Feed for Distributor Website: Dynamic Highway will automatically feed distributors with any data selected, and will also provide real-time price & product updates and real-time stock information.

Suppliers are able to provide their product data, stock data & entire pricing structure to Dynamic Highway in any electronic format they choose. Dynamic Highway will then convert and store that detailed data. The system will handle all of the complexities of special rates for individual distributors, product branding options, colours, print areas, weights, carriage, packaging, current & future stock and so much more.

Sourcing City Platinum users will automatically see all of the data provided to Dynamic Highway.

Distributors wishing to use the data for their websites can select their requirements from Dynamic Highway and receive their individual information in a simple export to feed their own websites or web shops. Then, every time a supplier makes any changes to any product or price it will automatically be fed to distributors through Dynamic Highway. (Distributors would not need to be Sourcing City customers to use Dynamic Highway for their websites.)

Dynamic Highway will also connect to Promotional Office Software, and there will also be an optional upgrade version of Sourcing City that will provide real-time pricing. Plans are also in place to provide product stock availability in real-time.

New Sourcing City Websites or Web Shops will also connect to Promotional Office Software.

Sourcing City sits at the heart of industry data at present and are ideally positioned and determined to resolve this industry issue. Distributor activity online is constantly expanding & developing, and their requirements are becoming more specific. Dynamic Highway is going to make managing individual bespoke data on any website easy.
