Bio Laboratories Ltd went through their annual ISO9001 surveillance audit at the start of February successfully migrating across to the new standard ISO9001:2015 ahead of schedule establishing it as one of the leaders in its field.

The independent assessment was again conducted by the leading Certification Body, The British Assessment Bureau and demonstrates Bio Laboratories Ltd commitment to customer service and quality.

ISO 9001 was first introduced in 1987 and under the new ISO9001:2015 requires organisations to not only demonstrate that they do what they say they do but now unlike its predecessor ISO9001:2008, through the new ‘Business Management System’ focus also on performance combining the process approach with risk-based thinking, and employing the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle at all levels in the organization.

The benefits of registration to the ISO9001:2015 standard still include, Streamlining an organisation’s procedures, bringing consistency to an organisation’s service delivery and reducing cost and rework and improving an organisation’s management practices bringing enhanced status and a Competitive advantage.
