Back in August this year, Richard Hope-Jones, David Tillman and Phil Hindson from High Profile, all climbed up to the summit of Ben Nevis in Scotland.

Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the British Isles. Standing at 1,344 metres above sea level, the mountain is a popular destination attracting an estimated 100,000 ascents a year, 3 of which were representatives of High Profile!

Making sure to take all the necessities when embarking on a trek such as this, Richard, David and Phil pack their rucksacks with Baseline bottles, MyKit first aid packs and Lunch boxes, wrapped up warm and climbed the steep path to the summit, taking just over 3 hours to get there.

The summit of Ben Nevis comprises of a large stony plateau, and the highest point is marked with a large, solidly built cairn. The summit is the highest ground for over 400 miles, before the Scandinavian Mountains in western Norway.

After taking in the (foggy) view and snapping a few pictures, the trio made their way back down to ground level with aching feet but a great sense of achievement!
