Following a period of difficult trading conditions (associated with the collapse of the banking sector in Ireland in 2009), Classic Marketing Limited secured the appointment of an examiner for the business last Thursday in the High Court in Dublin.

The Company now has a breathing space period of up to 100 days to allow it to restructure with a view to providing for its long term future. The Company has been trading since 1986 and supplies a wide range of corporate branded gifts across many industries.

Commenting on the appointment, Joint Managing Director John Sisson said “we are pleased to have secured the appointment of Neil Hughes as Examiner to assist us in our restructuring plan and we are encouraged by already having received a number of expressions of interest in investing in the business. We would like to thank our existing suppliers for their continued support and we look forward to working with them in the coming weeks to secure the future of the business”.
