Summing up the challenging environment we are trading in, the Altitude Group plc, owners of Dowlis Corporate Solutions, Trade Only & adproducts.com have today released preliminary results. The group has seen a 14.7% drop in revenues, with the Promotional Marketing division being hardest hit with a 20% drop in revenues, included in this division is adproducts.com who posted double digit growth for the fifth consecutive year.

Group revenues decreased by 14.7% to ?15.3m (2008: ?18.0m).

The Promotional Marketing Division reported revenues of ?13.1m in 2009 (?15.9m in 2008).
The End User business’s forming the largest part of the group (Dowlis Corporate Solutions, Ross and Distinctive Ideas) delivered revenue of ?10.2m in 2009 (?13.6m in 2008).
The Information and services division remained flat reporting revenues of ?2.8m (2008: ?2.9m).

Also interestingly Colin Cooke in his Chairman’s statement said “Our primary focus is on the development and growth of the existing divisions of the company, we are however mindful that the constituent parts of the group which are all making good progress in their own right, have the potential to unlock substantial value should we explore alternative strategies for the group. We will continue to consider options as they present themselves but will maintain our focus on delivering profit growth and positive cash flow in the meantime” This will probably ensure further speculation on the groups plans.
