Following their fourth consecutive year of winning the BPMA’s prestigious “Distributor of the Year Award” for the £2m – £5m category, Allwag Promotions have continued to expand their team to keep up with the continuous growth of their business.
The company have now recruited four new employees within the past three months to add to their devoted team of promotional merchandise enthusiasts!
Sian Luton and Sophie Hunt have joined the company’s dedicated sales team as Customer Service Executives. Sian has a wealth of customer service experience in the I.T, Automotive and Financial Services sector and looks forward to putting her knowledge to good use as she makes the transition to the promotional industry.
Sian commented: “I am so happy to have joined Allwag Promotions, Team Allwag are always willing to help! I’m excited to get settled into my new role and develop not only my career, but myself as a person.”
Sophie has a background of working in property and hospitality and hopes to transfer her extensive knowledge of these industries to assist her with her new role.
“Joining Allwag Promotions has been a weird and wonderful experience,” commented Sophie. “Every day is completely different and every member of the team has been so warm and welcoming!”
Allwag Promotions have also recruited two new additions to their marketing department too, Katrina Istead and Georgina Finch. Katrina is currently a Marketing and Communications student at Bournemouth University and is completing a fourteen month placement with Allwag Promotions as part of her degree.
“Working at Allwag Promotions and becoming part of the team has been a massive milestone for me,” Katrina commented. “They have given me a real insight into the functioning of a fast-paced marketing department and how every aspect of a company influences the other.”
Following her recent graduation from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Graphic Design, Georgina Finch has joined Allwag Promotions as an additional Graphic Designer and Artworker.
Georgina commented: “I’m delighted to work in an industry where design is such a crucial part of the company’s sales. I’m excited to put the skills I gained from my degree to immediate use knowing that my work may be the difference between winning an order and not.”
