Keepme Bags have a real spring in their step as things hot up for another busy summer at their Greenhithe headquarters.

With a full order book keeping them busy during the first quarter of 2013, owners Kevin and Steve Anderson have been on a recruitment drive, which has seen them swell their ranks with 8 new members of staff across the business. From sales support to warehouse picking & packing, the Keepme team now includes (from left to right) Toni, Yvonne, Jane, Diane, Kenton, Kayleigh, Kai and April.

Despite extensive expansion in 2012, the requirements of the business in the first quarter of this year have dictated more storage and operational space. To accommodate this the business secured an additional 8,000 square feet opposite their existing headquarters in March.

As Commercial Director Steve Anderson highlights:
“We stand by our ability to provide a quality service. This requires that we hold significant stock that can be turned around quickly to meet the demands of our customers.”

Within a week of securing this additional space it was filled with stock that has been largely committed across the next few months. With promotional activity hotting up around the summer months, it would seem that Keepme Bags will continue to be on everyone’s lips, and if not, certainly on everyone’s shoulders throughout 2013.
